Cannot Burn A CD From iTunes Without  Getting A 2131 Error

Trying to burn a CD using iTunes and getting a 2131 Error?  My wife ran into this problem when trying to burn a CD with iTunes on her Dell Latitude D630 laptop.  She searched the internet quite a bit for others who got the 2131 Error in iTunes when trying to burn a CD.  It appears there may be a problem with the DVD RW drive in the Dell Latitude laptop that causes the 2131 error in iTunes.  Dell however came out with a fix which lucky for us works and we can now burn CD's with iTunes.  If you have a Dell Latitude or Inspiron laptop, try doing this to get a fix for the 2131 Error in iTunes.  Visit support.dell.com and click download a driver.  Then enter your service tag or model and look under the CD/DVD section look for the latest firmware update for CD/DVD in the Dell laptop.  I updated the firmware on my wife's dell and I also updated the laptop bios and then rebooted and my wife's problem getting the 2131 error on iTunes was solved.

If you have a laptop that is not a Dell and are getting the 2131 error in iTunes try obtaining a firmware update for your CD or DVD Rom drive and maybe even a bios update for your computer.

TSST TS-L632H seems to be the model of DVD drive that causes the error 2131 in iTunes.  This is not isolated to Dell laptops i've heard about this same error in Toshiba and other major maker brand laptops.
